Dianne Denholm

Dianne Denholm is a woman who has been a leader in the sewing/fiber art community here in Denver.  She opened and ran a fabric store for many years and developed a wide network of fans... me included.

I loved her recent blog and wanted to share it with you but this paragraph stood out the most because my Mom's punishment for all her 5 kids was to send us to our rooms to spend time re-thinking our actions.  Here's the quote from Dianne's blog. (I wonder if her Mom knew my Mom.)

​“Go to Your Room,” said Mom Nature to us all. “And don’t come out until you think about what you’ve done!” Staying Away has made us think.  And whoa, it is not fun to realize what large scale/small scale not so nice things we humans have been accepting as normal life. Many, even still, refuse to sit in the corner and see it.
