Sashed Circles
I’m so honored to have my block appear in Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks Volume 7! The newest issue of Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks hits the newsstands on May 7th.

To those of you who know me, you [...]

I’ve been fooling around with adapting my Stupendous Stitching techniques to making modern-looking quilts. I really like how adding embroidery and decorative machine stitching changes the texture and look of quilts. It’s too bad that the written “esthetics” of the Modern Quilt movement has banned adding stitches like this. But those of you who know me know I rarely follow the rules. (What rules???)
