Tomorrow I will be filming my “Stitch & Slash” class for Craftsy.com. I can’t wait. It’s always so much fun to work with this talented and fun group of people. The same team that filmed my “Stupendous Stitching” class will be filming this one so it will be less stress for everyone.

My Stupendous Stitching class went live on the Craftsy.com website on Friday, December 2nd and I’ve spent the last 10 days learning how to teach online using their platform and I’m having a great time!
Within hours, they enrolled more than 100 students and now, I am teaching more than 500 students across the world. Amazing!
What a great way to extend my knowledge and help other quilters and artists learn my techniques. I can’t wait to see if [...]

Tomorrow starts the first day of filming for the online course I will be teaching for Craftsy.com on “Stupendous Stitching”. I spent the last week writing the course outline and preparing the samples that I need to show a step-by-step process of creating these textural and beautiful pieces. I also emailed my students and asked [...]

Two years ago, channel 4 sent a videographer to interview me for Denver Arts Week 2009.
Now, they have done it again. But a little differently.
Channel 4 will be filming at Sync Gallery tomorrow at 1pm with our Mayor’s wife, Mary Louise Lee. Greg Moody will be interviewing her about her love of art and jazz. Hopefully, some of my art will be shown in the background! The reason they are coming is [...]
