July 5th is the debut of Quilter’s Newsletter TV – must see, thought-provoking, inspiring and all new “The Quilter’s Community” brought to you by editors of Quilters Newsletter magazine. Meet accomplished quilters, view amazing quilts, learn quilting techniques, visit quilt shows and shops, hear quilters’ stories, see the best quilting products and more.
And, I was invited to be among the first fiber artists to be interviewed for this new show and I also demonstrated how to make the modern “Stupendous Stitching” pillow I showed you in my June 3rd blog.
It was really fun! Besides getting professionally made up — always a fun thing to have done — everyone at Quilter’s Newsletter made me feel so welcome and at ease. I met Bill Gardner, Susan Geddes, Mary Kate Karr-Petras, Lori Baker and Lisa O’Bryan. Even the professional camera guys made lots of jokes and didn’t mind when I screwed up and asked for a re-take!
