New Legacies: Contemporary Art Quilts

I had the honor of being asked to jury the 30th annual “New Legacies” exhibition at the Lincoln Center Galleries in Ft. Yves St Laurent

Last Sunday was the last day of the Yves St Laurent exhibit in Denver.  What took me so long???  It was totally amazing.  Of course, his fashion is incredible but more than that, it was the presentation.  I walked into the exhibit to the music of La Traviata — a favorite opera of his (and mine!).  The mood was hushed and reverent.  The crowd silent.  Everyone was focused on the words on the walls and his art.
