New Work From Old

Sold!

I am a member of AQuA — The Art Quilt Association in Grand Junction, CO.  While it’s too far away for me to get to any meetings, belonging does let me participate in some of their exhibits.  This is a very interesting and diverse group of artists and I was blown away at the quality of art submitted to their annual exhibit and sale at Mesa Verde this year.

SAQA Auction

Every year, Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA) raises money to fund its operation.  They ask their more than 2,500 members around the world, to contribute a piece of their art measuring 12″ x 12″.  I have contributed for the past two years and here is my contribution for 2010.  It’s called Swine Flu Garden and it’s the study I made for a larger piece by the same name that is currently being exhibited in the Art [...]

Learning the Basics

My New Look

If you have visited my website before, you will notice a whole new look and feel — and much more functionality!  I am thrilled with the new site that was created by Kathy Keating, president of Tricalyx, a web design firm in Colorado.  Kathy is also a fiber artist so she “gets” how to present fiber art in a web site when all my pieces are a different size (non-traditonal!) and that’s not easy.
